The Mucking, Gutting, and Tarping Course provides training for response teams to safely and correctly muck and gut a home, allowing it to dry out and preventing further damage while awaiting repairs. This course also includes assisting both renters and homeowners with their damaged properties. Resources for residents, including information on what items can be salvaged and what items cannot, are vital to their recovery. This course also trains on the correct method for installing a temporary tarp over a damaged roof to reduce further damage.
